8 essentials for life

Pray Take moments each and every day to stop and give thanks for all you are and all that comes your way. And always remember that every thought, action, and breath is a prayer.

Breath Always breathe, otherwise you’re not alive, and it helps to breathe clean fresh air, try to slow down your breath, with a large and slow inhale and exiles. If you can smell it, it’s not supposed to be there.

Eating Habits Most human beings around the world live on a handful of food a day, but the most important thing is to eat wisely. Your meals should consist of 75% fruits and vegetables, and 25% of everything else. This will keep you more alkaline and less acidic, allowing less disease and injury.

Drinking Stay away from caffeine and alcohol, coffee, and soft drinks, drink mostly freshwater and fruit juices. Your body is mostly composed of water between 70% to 85%, even your brain is made of approximately 85% water. Every cell in your body needs water to live so drink wisely.

Exercise 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise three times a week, the other days walk one to 5 miles, yoga, tai chi, martial arts, play a sport with a friend, you can work up a sweat and have fun with friends instead of staying home, watching sports and working up a belly.

Rest To achieve less stress in your life, eat your evening meals early, and avoid caffeine’s and sugar at least three hours before bedtime, this will help in a sound sleep. Try to get between six and nine hours of uninterrupted sleep, if you’re unable to do so than supplement it with, naps, meditation, yoga, or just finding time to sit in a quiet place alone.

Meditation Find time every day to meditate, even if it’s only for 10 minutes. This will help slow ones mind/thoughts down and allow peace, helping to release stress and bring Joy, and balance to your life.

Your Thoughts All things are what they are, how could they be otherwise, if they could, they would be. When negative judgments or thoughts come to the front of your thinking look at them, see where it comes from, thank it for the lesson it teaches you, and then release it. Replace that pain with peace, compassion, love and if need be forgiveness.
